If you haven't wiped your old drive yet, you could use Ghost or PartitionMagic to move you OS from the old drive to the new drive, leaving everything else intact.

and in RE to the fragmentation, vista defragmenter sucks. DisKeeper works pretty good tho, you just can't defrag the drive you are running it off of
