First time builder lookin for advice

his is my first build ever. trying to make something for my wife. she's a big gamer and reeeeally into CG.

I've never done an overclocking but I've alot of discussion about whether to go with

her resolution is usually set at 1280by960 but she games at 1152by864.

Mostly I'm lookin for advice on if what I picked is gonna cause capatability issues and part selection.
