Hi Im having some booting probs.

When my pc was booting ok i was having to press F1 to get to the booting menut as my cmos battery is not workin, but that not the problem.

It wont boot at all now as the keyboard is not working and it is requestint that i press del to enter setup or f11 to enter boot menu. Is this just a keyboard issue, if so i will buy a new keyboard an get one with a usb connection to rule out the PS2 port OR could it be something else as it is not requesting me to press f1 to skip the cmos?

Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance

Borrow a PS2 mouse to see if it is a keyboard issue. Some older BIOS will not recognize a USB keyboard which is why i suggested the older PS2 interface. IF you have a newer model use a USB keyboard to see if you need a new keyboard.
