I'm planning to sell my ~4month old E8400 (E0). I've looked at prices, it seems to be going for $120-130. Going i7 too . And you should at least oc to mid 3's for 24/7. Wouldn't hurt to have that extra speed

You can generally get mid 3.0's on stock voltage.

If you are not planning to OC the i7 then save some cash and get the OCZ Gold 1600 3x2gb set. The gskill set while sweet will be wasted in a stock machine.

Sorry to derail this for a second but I was wondering if I plan on overclocking would it be bad to get the OCZ gold ram you mention or would it be sufficient?

It will be just fine unless you plan on some serious overclocking.

I run a cas9 1600 ram and it would run fine around 4.0.
