So I have this laptop. It's ran great for about 3 years. I decided to reinstall XP. Now that I've reinstalled XP, it'll shut off without warning. Whether it's running idle, running an application, etc. Sometimes it'll last 20 seconds after I boot up. Other times 20 minutes.
This did NOT happen prior to reinstalling Windows. There were zero issues with it besides me wanting to redo the install. Yet once I redid it, bam, this happened.
EDIT - Yeah. Definitely not. Just went to reinstall Windows and it shut off at the BIOS screen before the Windows CD even took over. Awesome.
