It seems I need firewire to capture video from my old Sony DCR-HC-30E.
My mobo doesn't have firewire so I'm thinking about a firewire pci card.
I thought it was just an interface like usb but it seems that some cards do rendering aswell.
I'm only using it to capture some old video's since the time of tape is over. No editing or whatever. Purely capturing.
Can I just get the cheapest card (my system specs are in my sig)?
