Best video card with no additional power?

My 8600 GT won't display through the DVI port anymore so I guess it's dead, that being said I'm in the market to buy another video card.
This computer is an Acer and has the standard power supply that came with it (300 watt)
I was looking at getting a 4670 and was wondering if this is the best card I can get that won't require a new PSU

Any suggestions? I'm looking to play Wc3 CoD4 and Starcraft II and Diablo 3

Probably the HD 4670 like you said.

There's also a 9600GT (there's a specific version) that requires no power connector also, buts its a bit ore expensive as far as I know.

the 4750 doesn't use a PCI-E power connector.

Would you suggest waiting a bit for the 4750 or just going with a 4670?

The 4670 requires a 400W PSU. The 4550 requires a 300W, and is a small step above the 8600.

This MSI is decent, and has a better warranty than the Sapphire:

Overpriced like you said, but a good deal.

And if you kill the card, your choices are basically unlimited, if by then you have a better PSU.

this corsair would be a better deal, comes out to $30 after rebates. that would handle a 4850. maybe a 4870 too.
