Hi, this forum helped me build a computer almost 4 years ago.
I do believe my power source has become defective, wanted to check here before I replace it though.
Turned off the computer before I left the house, came back 10 hours later to find computer had not completely shutdown. I hold power button to shut it down completely, then try to boot. Only I hear a clicking sound, and while my fans move, it is just barely. cpu fan just moves back and forth a quarter inch.
Trying the power button gives no response.
I've left it unplugged and have been been using my laptop in the meanwhile, every time I do try to plug it back it its same thing, clicking sounds, weak fan movement, no response when i try to boot.
I'm guessing I just need a new psu, pls let me know if need any other info or if its something else.
psu is a OCZ 520W.
