hi i have bought a motherboard and it is untested so i was wondering wheather anyone would be able to tell me if i could buy a motherboard tester what would plug into a usb port in my current computer and connect to the motherboard i have bought and test to see if it works?

You need to install a CPU, Memory and give it power from a power supply. You can then connect a monitor to the VGA port and verify POST.

And a video card if it doesn't have an onboard.
