Help with $1000-$1200 intel gaming build?

Hello,

I'm planning on building my frist computer here in the upcoming months. I'll have a budget of approximately $100-$1200 and want it to be intel (probably i7). I'd like 6GB RAM, and at least 1GB on the video card.

Well if you were wondering about the case, I have it and personally I love it. It fits everything really nice, but if you are getting a aftermarket heat sink like my ,Core Contact, you have about an inch from the door panel. I would suggest ordering 2 more case fans and for more airflow. Wire management is kinda tricky but if you take the time it definitely pays off.

edit: the only reason you wouldn't want to get this card over the 4870 is if you were playing at 2560x1600. Apart from that, it gets pwned

Well the build Hikari put together (except for the gfx card) will do you great, you'll get no lag on those games at all.

Anything else you need clarification on for this build?
