Monitor Problem?

I just bought this monitor: Newegg.com - LG W2353V-PF Black 23" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 50000:1 w/ Smart Package - LCD Monitors

I plugged it into my computer using vga and the desktop icons and cursor and everything have like a ghost copy of each thing to the right of it. like old crt monitors used to do. I was wondering if thats a flaw in the monitor? or maybe cuz im using an old radeon 9800 256mb card? I'm getting a HD4890 on wednesday. Would that fix it?

Sounds odd, are you running at the monitor's native resolution, i.e. 1920x1080?

ya i'm running it at 1920x1080. Even when i change the resolutions it still does it.
