Tape in Computer

Can I use scotch tape to tape some lighting tubes around my computer? (won't touch any other part but the case and the lighting plastic cover itself); will it affect anything - will heat destroy it?

nope. i have used electrical tape to hold up some cold cathodes before.

I've used duct tape, and painters tape... Not extremely proud of this, but it was actually out of necessity.

well i think scotch tape would become brittle over time (due to heat) and just make a mess...

i agree with phil, electrical tape should work well.

Go grab some 2 sided tape from 3m and do it right
