Asus EAH4850 temp

Hey all,
I am wondering if any of you have experience with this 4850. My issue is with heat. I do only plan on using stock cooling, no overclocking. Have they improved temperature issues since the release? Thanks for any info!

No experience with it, but it looks to be a decent cooler.

Unless you are depending on the rebate you would do better going with this one from XFX (lifetime warranty):

No card will run cool unless you have decent airflow through your case. If it is keeping hot air trapped inside it will make your card run hot, too.

+1 to the XFX, I have it. Idles around the mid-low 40s, and load is low-mid 50s.

this has a good cooler too with aluminum fins and copper heatpipes, only has 2yr warranty though :/

Coolmaster Centurion 534, horrible airflow case . But I've added a 80mm fan to the side vent and I leave the side panel open bit. Waiting on some sycthe fans to arrive, sucks living up north lol, every thing takes a week+ to get here..

The xfx is a great card though, mine had some "hissing" issues, but they're gone now so idk really what that was about.

I think i had the same card in the same case mines sits around 48 thats with the fan on half max speed
There a ok case it can also depend on the maker of card
