I was working on my rig when it suddenly switched off and restarted. On restart, the video did not appear on the screen. Instead, I heard a series of long beeps. This keeps happening whenever I try to start the comp now.

My config is:

Phenom X3 8650
4 Gig RAM

I tried removing one RAM stick at a time, but it still persisted with the beeps.

I would appreciate a "diagnosis", thanks.

Reseat your gpu if applicable and check all power connections.

Were you working inside the computer while it was on?

Hey that was fast.

I checked all connections, everything seems to be in order. And I don't have a GPU, just an onboard HD3200. Also, I was simply gaming when the PC restarted.

Yes, it is. That's why I have put a spike protector (one of those power strip thingies).

How do I reset the CMOS (noob alert :D)

I believe its a RAM issue, try taking out all but one stick of your ram, make sure everything is powered down and make sure you have your 24+4 pin disconnected from your board before doing it and before you reach in, touch your cases chassis so you ground yourself out, once you only have 1 in try it and see if you get anything, if not move onto the next stick, then to the next till you get something
