How does something like this compare? QUAD CORE Q6600 3.0 Ghz GAMING 4GB DDR2 9400GT 500GB HD - eBay (item 110375582368 end time Aug-08-09 13:55:28 PDT)

I see the processor has 8mb cache while the first computer had 12, although I don't know how importaint that is since the build sugested above with the AMD processor only had 6. I don't know anything about motherboards so I can't really compare them, but I did see the PSU was only 400watts.

That graphics card is sub-par for the money, I'm sure someone could throw something better together for the money..

No, its a g31 mobo, very low end.

Unless you really want an intel, the amds are the best value.
