I still have to post it in the correct thread :D It's storming here and the power cut-off for a few minutes :D

Well I had planned to try a few more runs of SuperPi and start running a few 3DMark benchies this afternoon. But things sort of fell apart when I reset the bios and powered it up. The 1st thing I noticed was the smell of burnt plastic. I've torn it all down and I can't physically find anything that looks damaged. The insulation job work great, no moisture at all so I'm certain I've either burned out the voltage regulator or the cpu. And the cpu doesn't have that burn't smell so I'm hoping it's good still. I'll probably wait til Saturday when my office is closed and try this cpu in my workstation. I'll test my power supply at the same time just to make sure, if I'm really lucky maybe it's went bad, I've had it for close to 3 years now. Time to go Window Shopping :D
