Hefemeister Lord Techie, Messages 9,093 Location Sweden Aug 4, 2009 #13 I would look at this card to save some cash and overclock it yourself. 2gb of memory is a bit overkill unless you are playing above 1920x1200. Newegg.com - XFX GX285XZWBF GeForce GTX 285 1GB Black Edition 512-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards If you are going to OC your cpu then an after marked heatsink would be in order. The Core Contact is a great one for a good price. You need a dvd drive but you can pick up whatever for that.

OP OP I iwaspwnd Solid State Member Messages 11 Aug 4, 2009 #16 What OS do think would be best? The x32 or x64?
M Muffin Man muffin enthusiast Messages 2,724 Location new york Aug 4, 2009 #17 you would need the 64-bit version to use all your ram.
veg1992 Golden Master Messages 19,993 Aug 4, 2009 #18 Since you are getting more than 4GB, definitely 64bit.
OP OP I iwaspwnd Solid State Member Messages 11 Aug 4, 2009 #19 Is there any big compatibility issues with the 64 with games?
dirkpitt45 Daemon Poster Messages 755 Aug 4, 2009 #20 Nope, playing street fighter 4, cod4, HAWX, Crysis Warhead, Age of Empires 3, Dawn of war II and prototype just fine. Although a friend had to install some windows update with windows 7 to play HAWX. It just wouldn't launch until after the update.
