Why do you want DDR3?

And yes, that would mean you'd need a different motherboard.

you will also be needing a disc drive, unless you were planning on reusing one.

possibly because DDR3 is better in the long run and it's not a whole lot much more expensive than DDR2.

I would recommend downloading Windows 7..... will save you some money there... the build that was posted looks pretty good... what would be a good ddr3 MB/ram/CPU combo?
