Modem card question

I have an internal modem card that looks just about identical to this

Click on the first one in on the bottom row.


Would that be compatible with a PC that is about 3 years old?

Also, is there a way I can look at the modem card to know if it is compatible?

more info it states on the card itself that it is a PCtel pct789t-c

Well it looks like it's a PCI card so if the PC has a PCI slot (most likely does) then yes.

The only thing I am looking for this modem to do is use it for caller ID over my PC. I am using it with vista or windows 7. Do you think it will work? PLz let me know.
