get a universal laptop charger or orginal?

Well I kinda lost half of my charger for my laptop I was wonder should i just order one from the company or just go and buy a universal one? what are some pros and cons about each thank you

If it's not going to be too over priced, take an orginal. I have seens some problems with the 3rd party ac adaptors. Problem including
- Plug does not 100% fit
- Unexplained burn marks on the laptop motherboard.
- People not checking the output before plugging it in and burning the laptop

I was about the go a 3rd party AC adaptor myself, however after seeing a few with that second problem come into my shop, i would be directing you to the orginal or 100% compatable AC adaptor. The Universal ones are trouble.

I agree, go with the original.

and i second that opinion, stick with manufacturer. While it may be more expensive, it wont cost you a new laptop

I ended up calling the company and seeing if they just sell the power cord which I was lucky and they did so i wouldnt have to spend about 100 bucks on a new charger.
