8800 gts sli vs. gtx 275

I just upgraded to a gtx 275 and im noticing that my 8800 gts(g92) sli setup gave me better fps. I gained about 1k in 3dmark06(gpu 7500) with the 275. I see either lower or the same fps in every game i play. I dont think its supposed to be like this, maybe my cpu is bottlenecking the 275?

It doesn't look like bottlenecking to me; do you have the latest drivers installed for the 275?

One theory is that the games you are playing don't fully support the GT200 series, while they did support the 8800. If that's the case then I would ensure all your games are fully patched.

i downloaded the latest graphics drivers and mobo drivers when i installed the card. Ive only been playing cod4 and crysis, i think i have the newest patches for those.
