I currently have a zalman 9700 with a 1366 adapter. It is not keeping my temps where I want them. I have been looking into a few heatsinks and want to get some feeback. I am thinking of going with the cooler master V8 or the TRUE 120. The TRUE 120 listed is high but I have found a few places for about $75 or so. Also wondering about switching out the fan with a higer cfm fan?

My bad just realized I did not get this in the cooling sub forum.

What do you mean? It looks like it is in the cooling sub forum to me. ;)

My vote is for the TRUE or TRUE copper. I use the TRUE and Slaymate uses the copper and we have both had very good results with them. Keep in mind you will need to lap it but IMO it is the best i7 heatsink you can get. Couple it with a high rpm 120 x 38mm fan (if the sound does not bother you) and you are chilly and ready to go over 4.0 on air 24/7.
