Lexmark 125 Scan to PDF

Hello,

My Lexmark 125 printer/scanner/copier/fax will only scan to jpg, but I want to get it to scan to PDF. Would this be a hardware, software, or driver thing? Possible that I could get open source software to scan to PDF?

Software, and it would be the software that came with your printer. If it does not scan directly to PDF (obviously it doesn't since you are asking) you will have to use a 3rd party program to convert the JPG to PDF.

You could google around to see if there is a software package that can communicate with that printer/scanner and convert directly to PDF, but from what i'm finding there is not anything. If the software that came with the device does not do what you are wanting more than likely you will have to look at 3rd party software to accomplish the goal.

Thanks, I think I will just have to use an app to convert jpg to pdf...just a lot of steps. Will look closer when I buy another scanner.
