Copied over the links for you.

1) I do not see the need for the sas hard drive. Get another wd black 640gb for os and programs.
2) rampage II while a great board is too much money. Get a p6t deluxe or a biostar ud5
3) you need 3x2gb for 6gb total to take advantage of triple channel just get the set you have in the 3x2gb flavor.
4) at the resolution of your monitor you would be fine with a single gtx285 or perhaps an ati 4890.

Agreed.
The mobo is a fine choice but you can do better for price/performance. Hefe's suggestions are good. You only need one video card with 1gig of video memory. A 4890 would be great for this. And for a $2k budget you can get an SSD for the OS drive.

Newegg.com - OCZ Vertex Series OCZSSD2-1VTX60G 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid state disk (SSD) - Solid State Disks

I would recommend this model. With this windows will boot up in 10 seconds or less.

SSD's great, but just make sure you can back it up with the rest of your system. With a $2K rig, I doubt you'll have any problems.

Also, the Asus monitor you chose doesn't have a HDMI port. If I were you, I'd drop the extra $10/$20 on the similar monitor with HDMI, that way it'll always work as a regular TV if you don't end up needing it down the road. I know Ebates had Newegg coupons and gives cash back too, which might be a good thing to think about when you're dropping two grand on the internet.

DVI is better than HDMI for total max resolution and you can get adapter plugs for a dollar or so to go from one to the other. The HDMI port isn't worth the extra cash.
