You could run them out the top. Basically leave a block out the top.
OR
Put the intake at the btm of the back plate, and an out up near the very top.

the tops not done yet. its going to hold my hard drives. still have antoher foot of wood blocks adding to the top. so you think intake right over the mobo, then a foot above that have the exhaust?
