After yuv double checked clean out the usb ports and make sure dust isn't interfering.
Once those two things are done take an other usb device that works on an other hub or computer that you know of or have and put it in every one of those usb ports and test.
If you still read nothing you can narrow the problem down a bit. After that and still nothing try the same hub or a relatively close same hub and input those devices if still no go you know its sopftware related.
In which case drivers would be your problem
or a conflicting aplication. So in a day you should have it back yp just by going down all the possablitites
