Should I get two 4770's, two 4850's, 4870, or 4890? I'm gonna get XFX no matter which card.. Also I heard some of these cards are loud, so if I replace the fan, wwhat should I replace it with, and is this covered in the warranty? Also, when is the 5 series coming out, if it's soon, I might wait.

I need help picking a i7 motherboard for ~$300 or less. I was thinking about the Asus P6T V2.. If I were to pick up an i7 920 at MicroCenter, would it probably be a D0 version? Also should I get a sunbeam CCF to cool it, and how far should it OC? Or should I forget the i7 920 and wait for the i9?

Is this good RAM?

What OS should I get if I want to game, multi task, and edit stuff?

I will order most of this stuff on newegg, besides the i7.

a single 4890, out of those would be the best bet.

If you can afford it go 4890. I know xfx covers overclocking in their warranty but I am not sure about replacing the heatsink. Do not have a recommendation for you there.

Once it is time to buy then just buy. There is always something better coming out. Get i7 Now.

If I were to OC to the max and burn out my 4890, and they only 5 series chips, can I upgrade to a 5890 for free? lol

I'm going to go with the Asus P6T V2, with the OCZ Flex RAM. Also, how can I install the free Windows 7 OS, if there's no OS to DL it? How could I OC if I got a i7 920 D0 revision, and a sunbeam CCF with t tuniq paste? I would like to reach 3.5GHz at a good temp.

I have heard of some pretty good upgrade stories from xfx.

download the 64 bit version here. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx burn the iso to a dvd and you are ready to go.

You should have no problems going to 3.5 with a D0. I run a C0 at 3.4 at less than stock vcore. 1.20.
