HDD space missing?

Ok u guys have confused me lol. Windows is all updated to sp3 and it still only shows 127gb. So I should change the partition amount to 500gb?

now look in disk management. You should see the rest of the drive space as unallocated. correct?

Then download gparted live cd.
GParted -- Download

create the disk at boot your system to it and extend the 127gb partition to the full 500gb.

Or is you want you can just partition the remaining unallocated part as a separate drive partition and use it for data and use the 127gb partition for os and software.
