*The Official Tech-Forums 3DMark Vantage Rankings*

re: The Official Tech-Forums 3DMark Vantage Rankings

But personally i dont think win7 is stable enough yet. I can boot at 4.5ghz in vista, but still get random crashes running 3.2ghz in win7.

Our systems are pretty simular , I can't help but think you need to update something.

Here's a guide to manually installing the Intel Chipset Drivers

And here are the newest WHQL Intel Chipset Drivers

Nvidia just released a new driver for all versions of Windows, 186.18, I haven't tried it yet. I've found the 185.85 to be faster than the 186.08

Nice Score PH3N0M :D

What mobo are you using? I don't see it in your sig. What type of cooling are you using on your cpu and video?

re: The Official Tech-Forums 3DMark Vantage Rankings

Hey man, thanks. I'm not sure about the mobo but I think it's an MSI. As for cooling, I'm just using a stock XPS 730x copper core heatsink. Stock cooling on the video cards as well.

I've wanted to go with 3-GTX285's but I'd have to opt for RealTek sound and remove my X-FI, something I'm not willing to do. However, I'm sure that would increase my score considerably.

re: The Official Tech-Forums 3DMark Vantage Rankings

Just installed my SSD. Win7 took 15 minutes to install. This thing is rediculously fast. I guess it also makes a difference since i was on a 3 year old 160gb drive. Anyway, here are my 24/7 settings. So far i have seen no reason to use anything more than these settings while playing WoW and mass effect.

Nice score Veedub, you can keep this one as I'm not going back to Tri-SLI.
