Well since i got yall here, i got one more question.
SLI and Crossfire with video cards, whats the difference between them and also is the performance increase worth it or is it more of "Look what i did!", show off kind of thing?

SLI is nvidia

crossfire is ATI


Uhmm..some cards can see a performance increase as much as 90%..but most second cards only add like 30-50%. And in order to benefit you need a large monitor (Most people say 24inch is the bare min you should have before it)

It usually wont even make 50%, its almost always under 40% gain. generally crossfire scales better but nvidia usually have the better high end cards hence why its is much more mainstream. Its not always for high-end though, sometimes it may be worth having two budget cards in sli/xfire which are better than the equally priced alternative single solution.
