Another RAID question...

K i just ran some HDD benches on my older 320G drive, and my new RAID 0 setup. The new RAID setup( two WD Caviar Blacks, and this card) had almost double the average transfer rate, but a slower burst rate, and i have no idea why. I am probably missing something, any help would be appreciated.

RAID average: 144
320g average:77

RAID burst:114.3
320g burst:117.9

could it be the card? I am using HD Tune 2.55, so i think it should be accurate. If my burst rate is that low, wont that like cap my HDD speed?

If we assume the software is accurate, clearly not.
