Computer frozen on startup

Well long story short, i was transferring some files from my main computer to my usb that i was going to put onto my laptop. I turn off my main pc, then realize i forgot a few more files and turn my main computer back on. Only to realize that after i hit the power button everything seems to be going normally until it just stalls and freezes.

Everything in the computer is still running, it just stalls. Nothing on the screen appears, no error nothing.

Any suggestion as to why this is happening?

Is the usb stick still in?

Is it perhaps trying to boot from it?

No, the only usb device connected is my wifi keyboard/mouse.

When i turn on my computer it doesn't go into bios or anything it just sits there; running. The restart button doesn't work either, only a force shutdown works.
