im thinking of slapping some new paste on my 4770's.

what should i use...

i have TX-2 handy, but im not sure if that is any good for a gpu.

also, any pointers for me on this matter?

thanks in advance.

cool thanks guys, i thought i had read something a while back about using something different, i just wanted to make sure before i did it.

I wouldn't use any conductive paste (AS5) on a gpu. Too much for it to short.

T/M X-2 and Ceramique are the most popular.

i did them today with TX-2, really havnt seen a drop in idle temps, but loads didnt really get get much higher than 40ish. keep in mind that only 1 card is installed atm, 2morrow perhaps i will slap the other in for some benchmarking and the temps will rise.

just sux that the memory on these have nothing but air to cool them down.
