The new line of graphics cards

I know there is no set date for these, but when should we expect them? I had been under the impression that it would be Julyish, but I saw someone say October.

The reason I need to know is because someone whom I'm going to help build a rig for is waiting for the new cards thinking they are coming in July, but if they aren't going to be here in July, he should just build now.

i'm pretty sure it'll be around end of Q3 start of Q4

EDIT: most articles point at Q4 for nvidia and late Q3 for ati

speculation is far and wide, I would say late Q3 as waffle hammer suggested but with the usual rumors floating around i'm not quite sure how much better they'll be, but surely an improvement

Yeah, I read some articles saying the earliest for Ati would be late July, but I found an article from a month ago saying Nvidia was delayed to January.
