Beeping driving me crazy!!! Please help!!

When I built my PC, I installed a card reader that had temperature sensors. One of the sensors is placed under the heatsink and I didn't know where to put the other so I just left it. The annoying thing is when it beeps whenever I load a video or multi-task and it drives me crazy! The sensor under the heatsink is fine, never beeps, but the one I have left out is constantly going off! I have even hung it out of the back near the far to keep it cool but it still goes off! It's not a beep from the motherboard, it's from the actual card reader and I have no idea how to turn it off. Does anyone know how I can increase the overheat temperature or turn it off?

would they both fit on the CPU? if so try that and see if it stops the noise

You could just pull it out and use the sensors built into the board to monitor temps.
