As far as overclocking, dunno if there's much of a difference. But I still recommend the ASUS. If you want to spend less money though, go for the UD4P.

TBH i don't think theres much difference between any of the high end boards of the same make. For the most part they are for extra I/O components and better chipset cooling, or of course PCI speeds as you mentioned. In all seriousness a p6t level chipset cooling is all you need to achive max overclock on air.
