Flash drive problem

Ok, im trying to put some disk images (not pics) onto my flash drive and it wont let me. They are well within the capacity of the flash drive (the drive is 16gb, and the image's are 6gb's) When i try to put one on it says it is too large for the destination drive, but it is not, there is about 13gbs of space i cleared up for i could put them on. I really need to get these transfered to my desktop (its from my laptop, unfortunately i do not have my portable hdd)

So how do i get this to work?

Are the flash drives in Fat32 format? If so, you can't transfer single files of 4GB or more. Needs to be in NTFS format for single files of 4GB or greater. Its the same way with my 32GB flash drive; its in Fat32 format (too lazy to convert to NTFS).

^hmm, i did not know this, it must be in fat32 then. Thanks mate, i'll format it to ntfs.
