Thermal Paste Application

Hey I got a question about thermal paste for CPUs... does the stuff ever go bad? I've had a tube for like 3+ years now I think with some still in it... lol

squirt some on a paper towel, if it comes out like goo, then your fine, if it comes out all hard and clumpy and stuff, toss it.

If it comes out soupy, turn the tube so it points downwards and let it sit for a few days, I have seen AS5 get a bit soupy looking when it comes out, but thermal paste normaly never goes bad unless it is in contact with air for to long.
