Correct me if I'm wrong, but can his case take another mobo down the road or has the maker of that pc made the case uneditable meaning he can't put anything else in there besides the manufacturers mobo only ?

Depends. Dell is really good at that, don't know what brand he's getting.

Either way, with the build earlier in the thread, it was a lot more upgradeable. Whenever he wants to upgrade this machine, he's basically going to have to buy mostly new parts.
