There aren't very many Evga boards for AMD, this one just looks like a sick board! I was pricing this out, but I don't need an i7.. I'd like a E8400 Wolfdale..

What are the good Intel Chipsets? Series #'s? Or if someone can explain the model # to me... I know the socket, but other then that, Intel #'s lose me..

So wait, you're asking about a good 775 board? Since the 1366 won't work with an E8400...

Also, are you going to get an E8400 to replace your pII 940?

I like the 'theme' (I guess) of the 1366 board... Triple DDR3 channel RAM slots and the good sized chipset coolers.. Sick looking board..

That was my main comment.. My side question was what the good chipsets were..

I'm starting to look at something different.. The C2D 8400 seems just as fast as the PII940, and it's a dual core.. It kind of sells itself. Plus I've seen the tests on the intel chips..

Way too expensive for what you get though, you can spend 200 bucks less and get a fine board...

The 1366 won't work with an E8400 either way.

1366 will only work with i7, yes.

The board I recommended earlier is one of the best overclockers out there.

I don't understand why you would spend money to switch from a PII 940 to an e8400. You're not really going to actually see much, if any difference.
