Yeah, it was expensive but it was the 2nd or 3rd best GPU that I could get back then. I chose this one because the others were simply too expensive. But I am very happy with my choice, its a good GPU.

James.wired, what are you referring to by ''they'' ? You mean the GPU in my build or what?

Yeah the 9800gtx+. I think our prices are similar when it comes to retail. Anything electronic has a price tag that I am not used to and it sucks.

Wow. Right now the GTX9800+ costs 143$ here. It seems your prices are even higher than mine, cuz the 250$ I gave was back in September '08...

Yeah it's pretty lame, but that's just the way it is. It's a good thing I have family and friends that visit from the states, so I can make them carry a whole new build with them on the airplane
