Best mobo for q6600 + true

Im lookin to get a new mobo for my Q6600 + TRUE. My DFI is having issues so I want to get the most reliable board that I can find, the more USB ports the better

These are the ones I have been lookin at, need a little help deciding on one tho:

that gigabyte mobo is the way to go, p45 chitset is the best overclocker for the 775. if you can get a biostar p45 i would get that. biostar boards are know for holding overclock records.

Gigabyte are good stable boards. I would recommend that over the Asus any day. They're both P45 chipsets, which are great.

Sweet, does anyone kno for sure if the TRUE fits on the gigabyte p45? Im just worried about the heatsinks around the cpu getting in the way, they look kind of close in the picture

The TRUE can mount horizontally or vertically, so if it doesn't fit one way, try the other. Also see here for details:

yes that gigabyte board is amazing. i have the DDR3 version of it and i have pushed 545FSB through it with my q9300. and got my world record overclock

and yes there is alot of room around the CPU area so the true will fit easily.

Yep the EP45's are great boards. Philbar cant stop talking about his he loves his board.
