i got two questions about sound if its not in the right section feel free to move :happy:

1) Whats the Green cord called that goes from speakers to sound card called? or does it even have a name?

2) Can someone recommend a good bang for buck sound card?

1.) It is a green TRS 3.5mm stereo output, front channels...Why do you need to know? It is just bassically a standard 3.5mm audio cable

That is a decent sound card, you can obviously buy better. You can find sound cards pretty cheap sometimes so look around at newegg.

1) because im planning on hooking my surround sound up to my computer, and for right now i might need to use the AUX so i was just wonderin what the cord is called so i can see were i can find a longer one

2) also used for surrond sound, but im broke right now and i plan on building a HTPC in the near future, and i dont know what to look for
