What are you going to do with it?

If you want great battery life and you want to save money, grab a netbook from asus, msi, or acer for sub $350. It's not like your going to be gaming hardcore on something without a good graphics card.

But if you would rather have the larger screen size, then that is up to you.

I like the larger screens, not wanting to spend more than 5-600 bucks. I like Sony's and Toshiba's from personal experience and these two are in the price range close together which is actually kind of odd for Sony.

I might would play WOW here and there or something, but mostly internet stuff. Movies and such.

It would be good for playing movies. But if you really want to play games like WoW then you might want to consider some thing better than a Intel GMA 4500M graphics.

BTW the 2, I would be going for the Toshiba. Larger Display and atleast there is online driver support. Sony has a habbit of not uploading drivers for their laptops online.

I'v tried the Sony Desktops, pretty nice when they first come out so I don't know.

I've owned only Toshiba and loved them, actually I've considered spending a little more and trying this one out.

For the price per spec that is not bad. However I don't like Acer. You will most likely see the following replies on this thread saying "NO" to Acer
