Looking for non-BIOS overclocking software

Seems that ClockGen doesn't support that PLL model (figures). I am looking into CPUFSB/CPUCool as SoftFSB is 95/98 and NT.
 
CPUcool was another one i don't think people mentioned. i had to use this once on my Pentium 4 HP rig.
 
Trotter... what kind of slow downs are you experiencing? What does your wife do on the computer normally and how is it showing its age?
When was the last time you did a nice clean reformat? Because maybe it just needs that. You could also try using programs to make xp less bloated before install.

I'm just throwing out some suggestions because I don't think overclocking her machine is going to do a lot. But every bit counts :)
 
Newer games have become more demanding while the hardware has stayed the same. The computer chugs along fine, but it is having trouble running newer games as smooth.

A format is out of the question. While it would help, my wife will have no part of it. Too much stuff that she can't get anymore, like old games and such.
