Explorer crash

This is weird. I can run executable programs, browse the Internet but I can't ope any folders including my computer. When I boot to safe mode everyting works fine. The CD drive reads CDs but wouldn't explore them even in the safe mode. Any Ideas??? Iam running XP home edition.

Download Hijackthis (just google it) and send us your Hijackthis log so we can see if something is stopping you from using Windows Explorer.

Well, I tried downloading your attachment and it seems that your ZIP file can't be opened, it seems to be invalid. Is this just me or is it you?

just change the extansion to log do not unzip

Ohhh. I'm sorry, I see what you're saying now. Hold on.

Well, not really anything out of the ordinary unless I am mistaken. I see that you have many toolbars for Internet Explorer, Google, MSN, etc. Try closing those toolbars through Internet Explorer and then try opening My Computer. I'm not sure if this will work or not but it is worth a try. Also run some various scans, Ad-ware, Spyware, Virus, just in case.
