Most Reliable External HD?

Green is there ecofriendly line, blue is standard and black is high performance. I would go with a caviar green and an icydock box

and why green over the black? from what ive read it seems to be pretty slow, plus the black is only $5 more wouldnt it be worth it to get the best performance drive?

The green is meant to use less power, which is great for companies that don't need fast drives (I think). But I don't see why salty recommended you a green
