quick question about heatsinks

If you remove the heatsink or have to reseat it, or are getting abnormally high temps. Otherwise you should be fine.
 
Probably suggest you buy new stuff anyway, like TX-2 and remove the old stuff with isopropyl alcohol before applying the new.

It will help with temperatures a bit but if you dont plan to overclock and just want to run it at stock then dont worry about it.
 
I wouldn't touch the thermal compound on a stock HSF, no point to me. I would only put on my own thermal compound if I actually bought an aftermarket HSF, since I personally think it would be a waste on stock.
