Ya 1680x1050 is my resolution, but I don't know when I am going to get a bigger monitor. So should I just get the HD 4770 or two of them.

Go for one right now. Get one later when prices drop and you actually see yourself needing one.

I would go for a single HD 4890 for that resolution since it shouldn't have a problem maxing most games out and gives you good upgrade options.

Guys I think you are overestimating cards here. I run CF 4850s at 1680x1050. Let me tell you , I wish I had the GDDR5. 512meg of GDDR3 doesn't cut it at 1680x1050. I can run FC2 pretty well, but I can't max it and that's with 2 4850s. For 1680x1050 I would recommend a 4890.

Well since I am going to be getting a 25 - 27 inch monitor I decided to get the 4890 and crossfire them later. Thanks everyone for the replies.
