I Think My Optical Drive Is Busted

I just put in a game DVD into the drive and when I double click on e: it says I have to 'Prepare this blank disc' - giving me two formating options.

What do I do?

Yes, I tried BG2 earlier. said the same thing...

Do these disks work on other computers?

yes they work on other computers and movies DO NOT play fine (see below)

EDIT: Ok movie discs are playing up now too. :S

Sounds like your laser is in your optical drive is about to die.

Fixed it. Just uninstalled my virtual drive which was apparently causing some driver conflicts.
